Guiyang human resources and social security bureau has stepped up efforts following the Spring Festival holiday to support business resumption and stabilize employment by surveying labor demand among key enterprises and building platforms that connect companies with job seekers.

The Guanshanhu district human resources and social security bureau conducted company visits and follow-up phone calls to identify job vacancies and labor shortages. Based on industry characteristics and peak hiring periods, the bureau formulated targeted recruitment service plans. Job information has also been released through online platforms, while towns, subdistricts, villages, and communities have helped promote recruitment, enabling more job seekers to quickly learn about available opportunities.

Through precise resource matching, the bureau has helped companies address practical hiring challenges. A biotechnology company faced a surge in labor demand after the holiday due to increased production. By connecting the firm with local flexible employment markets, the bureau recommended suitable candidates, with about 90 percent of the company's frontline workers eventually recruited through this channel, easing pressure caused by expanded production.

Meanwhile, special job fairs have been organized across districts, counties, and county-level cities, focusing on sectors such as manufacturing and community services. These events provide face-to-face opportunities for employers and job seekers to connect. So far, the job fairs have attracted more than 300 job seekers.

Since the beginning of this year, the bureau has helped multiple key enterprises fill more than 6,000 positions. Guiyang will continue to expand recruitment channels by utilizing public flexible employment markets and smart employment platforms, delivering more labor resources to companies while creating additional opportunities for job seekers.
