Guiyang brings social security verification services to nursing homes

The Guiyang Social Insurance Payment and Administration Center has dispatched staff members to Guiyang Industrial and Commercial Elderly Care Home (Yingpan Road) and Fuguikang Nursing Home in Nanming district, providing on-site social security benefit eligibility verification services for more than 150 elderly people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.

Before the visits, staff members coordinated with the two nursing homes to review the basic information of their residents. Using the social security system, they cross-checked verification records and identified individuals who had failed facial recognition, were approaching the verification deadline, or were unable to complete the process independently, allowing them to prepare targeted on-site services.

For elderly residents who were unable to complete facial recognition due to advanced age, disability, or illness, staff members documented the on-site service with photos, collected supporting materials, and uploaded the information to the social security system to complete the eligibility verification process. This door-to-door service has made social security verification more convenient and accessible for elderly residents while ensuring they continue to receive their benefits without interruption.
