Social security agencies across Guiyang launched a range of public outreach activities on Oct 14 as part of a social security awareness campaign, coordinated with a nationwide initiative to improve public understanding of policies and enhance services.
The campaign, which will run until Oct 20, targets flexible workers, migrant workers, food delivery riders, and ride-hailing drivers and focuses on public concerns, including social security contributions, retirement procedures, transferring social security accounts between regions, and occupational injury protection.
Through outreach activities at enterprises, communities, rural areas, and campuses, the city is promoting its social security planning service. The initiative helps residents understand eligibility requirements, contribution rates, and benefit entitlements, as well as social security's role in providing long-term protection for retirement and healthcare.
